Our programs and services are designed to monitor the health of residents, promote independence and provide a supportive environment by maximizing strengths and assisting residents with activities of daily living. We strive to develop personal relationships with our residents and their families that are both deep and satisfying.
Our service delivery model was developed to address two main objectives:
- That services at the facility responds to residents’ individual needs across all life domains (physical, social, emotional, psychological and spiritual)
- That the facility represents a living environment in which services are non-intrusive and resemble, as closely as possible, a set of normal, routine activities of life
Included among these programs and services are:
- Registered staff on duty 24 hours a day seven days per week
- Programs and secure accommodations for residents with cognitive impairment or dementia
- Secure out-door therapeutic garden
- Professional social work services
- On-site physiotherapy and restorative care programs to maintain resident mobility and independence
- Laboratory and X-Ray services
- Oxygen therapy
- Recreation and leisure programs that include outings, special events and activities, activation/exercise programs and programs involving the community, i.e. schools, volunteer groups, churches, etc.
- Personal laundry will be done in the individual home area and are available for residents and resident family members
- On-site Chaplaincy services. Chapel services are provided on Sunday and Wednesday
- Nutritious and appealing meals and snacks are served in each of the home areas, overseen by a professional dietitian
- On-site hair salon/barbershop services (fee- for- service)
- The following services may be provided, if requested, on a fee-for-service basis: optometry, audiology, chiropody, massage therapy, art therapy, music therapy, aroma therapy, acupuncture, speech pathology, dentistry, and reflexology
